Perhaps at no other time in your life will how you feel about your body be so important to you. Especially in certain intimate areas, as for many, this will be the first time your partner sees you naked. So we took a few minutes to help you organize the important beauty steps you will want to plan well in advance before the big night. We've all seen that episode of Sex In The City where Samantha gets a chemical peel the day of a big event. So make sure any experimentation is done well before your big day or night to avoid any unpleasant surprises.

TIP 1 - The Hair Down There: Grooming in Your Intimate Areas

This might be the time to decide how you want to present yourself to your new partner. Or maybe you want to change things up. Perhaps you’ve even discussed what style he or she prefers. Do they like fully smooth and bare, just trimmed up around the edges, or a full bush! Once you figure out which direction you want to go in, figure out how you want to achieve the look. Do you want to wax, shave or even have laser hair removal? It is important that you don’t wait until the last second for this because you will want to know if any of these treatments will cause any irritation or generally not work for you. You don’t want to find that out the day before your big reveal.

TIP 2 - Bling it Up

If you already have a set style and maintenance routine for your bikini area, consider jazzing thing up a bit. There are all sorts of ways to decorate your skin from body jewelry to adding crystals to your skin. If that is too much for you, consider a special pair of undies or garters. Let your freak flag fly, but don't scare the guy.

TIP 3 - Full Disclosure Before Full Exposure

As tattoos have become more popular in our culture, there is a good chance that you could have a bad one that you regret. If you haven’t already done this, you should be thinking about how to tell your partner about any embarrassing ink you may have. Like the tramp stamp you got in Cancun on Spring Break 2012, an old boyfriend's name on your butt, or worse, the words "Who's Next" on your pubic area. If you're not sure what to say, just explain that the tattoo is from a different time in your life and you have moved on and become more mature. In some cases you might be able to have an old tattoo removed or covered over with a new and more appropriate tattoo before your big moment. Working on this together with your partner can also be a way to show them that you have moved past that time in your life and you want a fresh start with them. If all else fails, at least have a good plan for covering it up to minimize any distraction it may cause in your intimate moments. Some lingerie or body jewelry might help you with that.

4 - Is Your Wink Pink? Try Anal Bleaching

We all want to look our best, especially in our intimate areas. Many of us are getting married later in life and our bodies can change over time. One big change both men and women face is that their skin can become significantly darker in their most intimate areas. It is not weird or even uncommon. In fact, it is something experienced by millions (billions?) of people around the world of all skin types. As the trend is for less hair covering these areas, you might be surprised to find that they have gotten darker with time, especially after child birth. So, this is a good time to take a look at yourself and see if your skin can use some brightening in your intimate areas. sometimes called "Anal Bleaching or Vaginal Bleaching", a good skin lightening can really freshen up your look and get all your bits looking lovely again. Even better, it will give you that extra bit of confidence in the moment of truth. Take enough time to do a thorough skin bleaching treatment, especially for the intimate areas of the body (genitals, anal area, nipples, underarms, and any other dark spots). At least 1-2 months. Our South Beach Skin Solutions products can really help you safely and quickly.

Well, many people head straight off to a sun-filled honeymoon vacation filled with lots of beach time and bed time. Make sure to bring the right products to protect your skin in all circumstances and you will make sun or sex pleasant and enjoyable before, during and after. Having your essential products selected and in your travel bag ahead of time will help you from having to scrounge for inferior substitutes while in an unfamiliar place. Just make sure to keep everything under 3 ozs if you are going on an airplane and check the regulations regarding how to package any travel items. With just a little planning, your skin can survive the big day and all that comes after it.
